Kinocha Ceremonial Grade Matcha is produced from leaves grown in the shade in Japan and harvested from the first flush of the year. The shading process, applied for approximately 20–30 days before harvest, allows the leaves to develop more chlorophyll and L-theanine. This gives the matcha its vibrant green color, smooth taste, and balanced umami character.

The leaves are slowly ground into a silky powder in traditional stone mills. The result is a smooth and elegant ceremonial grade matcha, suitable for daily consumption.

What is it?

A practical, no-added-sugar sweet snack where natural dates meet peanut butter and matcha-flavored chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 12 medium dates (pitted)
  • ⅓ cup white chocolate (melted)
  • 1 Kinocha Spoon (2g) Kinocha Ceremonial Grade Matcha
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (can also be almond or cashew butter)
  • A pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place the dates on a tray and flatten them.
  2. Spread peanut butter over them. Melt the white chocolate and mix with matcha.
  3. Spread the matcha chocolate over the peanut butter, then sprinkle with salt.
  4. Refrigerate or freeze until the chocolate hardens.

Tips

  • Use soft dates.
  • Matcha must be sifted.
  • Salt balances the sweetness.
