A Letter from Our Founder

We often forget to stop while rushing, to breathe, to truly notice what we're feeling. I lived like this for a long time too. Whenever I felt I couldn't cope with myself and my responsibilities during the day, I'd always reach for coffee to regain my energy. Until I discovered matcha.

In Japan, matcha is a ritual. A small moment of pause within the day.

With Kinocha, I dreamed of making this ritual more accessible, more real, and more sustainable for everyone I could reach.

During this process, I realized something else:
Truly good matcha was either very hard to find or only appealed to a certain segment of people. This wasn't what I wanted.

Kinocha was born from my desire to make quality matcha more accessible.
Without overcomplicating it; I wanted to naturally integrate what is truly good into daily life.

The brand's name also comes from the combination of "Ki ()" which means "life energy" in Japanese, and "Cha ()" which means "tea." So, Kinocha means the tea of life energy.

Kinocha isn't here to speed you up; it's here for you to reconnect with yourself, even for a moment, during your day.

Thank you for being with us on this journey.
I'm glad you're here.
