The stoneware ceramic used in the bowl and whisk holder is more durable than regular ceramic. The ceramic pieces are handmade in Turkey by a women-owned ceramic workshop. Each piece is unique.

Matcha is made from leaves grown in the shade in Japan and harvested from the first flush of the year. It has a smooth, balanced, and slightly umami character.
